The Brokerage
On your behalf.
Every step of the way.
Culius brokers culinary IP in two ways: through the Deal Room — a private, verified commercial space where certified assets meet buyers — and through direct outreach, where Deborah personally contacts the specific people you want to see your work licensed or sold.
Two routes to market. One mandate: to move your work.
How We Broker
Route One
The Deal Room
A private, verified commercial space where your certified asset is placed alongside other curated culinary IP. Pre-vetted buyers — hotel groups, airline caterers, ghost kitchen operators, retailers, publishers — browse and express interest. Culius manages every introduction.
Your asset is presented with its full CAVM™ score and deal book
You define which buyer categories and territories can see it
You set exclusivity preferences before placement
Your identity is disclosed only when you authorise it
No deal proceeds without your explicit approval
Best for: creators ready to reach a wide field of verified commercial buyers simultaneously.
Route Two
Direct Outreach
Deborah personally contacts the specific organisations, brands, or individuals you want to see your work. If you have a target in mind — a particular hotel group, a specific publisher, a retailer you believe is the right home for your asset — we approach them directly, on your behalf, with your certified deal book in hand.
You name the targets — we make the approach
Every outreach is confidential and professionally framed
Your asset arrives with full certification and documentation
Culius manages the conversation through to a commercial proposal
You decide whether to proceed at every stage
Best for: creators with specific buyers in mind, or assets suited to a targeted rather than broad market.
Licensing
Your work. Their use. You keep ownership.
A licence gives a buyer the right to use your culinary IP — a recipe, a technique, a concept, a brand — under defined terms, for a defined period, in a defined territory or format. You remain the owner. The licence can be exclusive or non-exclusive, and can be renewed, extended, or terminated based on agreed conditions.
Recurring revenue from a single asset
You control where and how it is used
Ownership stays with you throughout
Works well for recipe catalogues, methodologies, and brand concepts
Sale
A clean transfer. Full value, upfront.
An outright sale transfers ownership of the culinary IP to the buyer. This is the right structure when the creator wants a single, decisive transaction — full value realised at once, no ongoing relationship required. Culius certifies and packages the asset to maximise its sale value before any approach is made.
Full commercial value realised in one transaction
Clean exit — no ongoing obligations
Right for creators moving on from a body of work
Culius maximises the asset value before approach
Licensing or Sale
We broker both. You decide which.
Culinary IP transactions take different forms depending on what the creator wants and what the buyer needs. Culius brokers both licensing and outright sale — and helps you understand which serves you better before you commit to either.
"We do not wait for buyers to find your work. We take your work to the buyers who should have it."
Deborah Wehrens, Culius
For Creators
What brokerage looks like from your side.
When your culinary IP enters the brokerage, it enters as a fully documented, certified commercial asset — not a recipe, but a product. Everything Culius does from that point is done on your behalf and subject to your approval.

You control what is placed and when
Not every certified asset needs to enter the market immediately. You decide which assets are offered, which route they take (Deal Room, direct outreach, or both), and under what terms.
You define the perimeter
Buyer categories: hotel, airline, retail, ghost kitchen, events, education
Geographic territories: custom list or global

A few things worth saying clearly.
The brokerage is not a public catalogue.
Creator identities and asset details are not publicly visible. Every introduction — whether through the Deal Room or direct outreach — is managed under confidentiality. This protects creators and ensures buyers are genuine commercial operators.
We do not guarantee deals.
Culius does not promise that every asset will be licensed or sold. We promise rigorous assessment, professional outreach, and honest commercial guidance. Whether a deal happens depends on the right buyer, the right moment, and the right terms.
Buyers do not bypass creators.
Every deal requires creator approval. Culius presents offers, facilitates negotiation, and supports agreement — but no licence or sale is concluded without the creator's explicit sign-off. The creator always has the final word.
Culius does not own the IP.
Every asset belongs to its creator. Culius holds nothing. If a creator ends their engagement with Culius, their IP documentation belongs to them and goes with them.
